RORC Channel Race 2017
The RORC Channel Race starts and finishes in the Solent, and at approx. 125nm it is a popular weekend race. It is often an extended round the Island race, racing to Poole, with additional legs depending on the wind. Although hugging the coast for the whole race, this is a challenging race as the Solent and South Coast have complex tides and there are multiple opportunities for windward leeward legs.
